Yesterday, Facebook announced changes on the way for their News Feed. Great. We all know what that means…. people complaining for the next couple of weeks… well, get over it. This are good changes! Yesterday at Facebook HQ in Menlo Park, it was announced that the new Feed will offer filters, which allows you to control the content you see by category; these categories include Most Recent, All Friends, Photos, Music, Following, Games an Groups. Exciting right?
Mark Zuckerberg claims this is because he wants the News Feed to “give everyone in the world the best personalized newspaper we can,”. Yes, please! ALSO… drum roll… Images and ads will be even larger! Which I am personally very excited about.
Another perk is that the new News Feed will highlight the Pages you have liked and put them in an easier to access format. But these changed are not just for your computer… you can expect to see these changes on your phones and Tablets as well.
